Mar 15 Hall Bathroom Refresh!

Anytime I’ve walked into a moody bathroom at a cute hotel, I’ve thought about our hall bathroom and how fun it would be to transform the space into something with a ton of character. I was so excited to kick off this project by browsing wallpaper at Calico in Laguna Niguel where every single design and pattern was calling my name.

The showroom was endlessly inspirational and I looked through so many samples that I loved. I landed on a moody floral backdrop for the bathroom and started dreaming up what we could do with the rest of the space.

During installation! I was 100% freaking out.

I thought it would be fun to add a pop of color to the inside of the door. I matched the periwinkle blue flower in the wallpaper design and it ended up complimenting the colors so well.

I picked up some gold hardware for the vanity that I thought fit with the style of the wallpaper and that change made a huge difference. I started adding smaller touches and it’s my new favorite room in the house.

I’ve never worked with wallpaper before but I’m seriously considering doing our entire bedroom now because of how much it transforms the space. The wallpaper in our bathroom is called “Strawberry Fields” by Rifle Paper Co.

I could not be happier with how this space turned out and Calico streamlined the whole wallpaper selection process, making it so simple to achieve this look.
